I’m the husband of the kindest, most generous and beautiful woman in the world, Dani. I’m a very proud father of our 5 children; Rees, Jemma, Billi, Dominic and Kelly (aged 25,23,21,19 and 3 years old), and a loving grandfather to our 6-year old granddaughter, Noa. For ‘kicks’ I run around Lantau trails and lay around the mountain streams to cool off.
Professionally I’m privileged to be part of an exciting period of growth for the Colliers International brand globally. I’m continuing my work with great stores and Shopping Centre developers across Asia. At Colliers International I’m part a group of really experienced and smart folks that focus on Shopping Centre Development & Asset Management. My particular specialisation within the team is on leasing strategies and representing retailers across various markets in Asia.
I have been “in the market” for 30-years and still get to do really exciting projects on a regular basis. My career has taken in senior retail agency positions at the big International Real Estate Service companies; JLL, CBRE and Cushman & Wakefield (C&W). I’ve also had an opportunity to work directly for the retailer, Ralph Lauren during their very active period of due diligence and license acquisitions in Asia. Whilst working for them across Asia as a whole since 2008 at C&W, I was brought in-house to specifically work on the Korea license acquisition in 2010 and 2011.
From there I joined CBRE and focused almost entirely on China for the initial 3-years of my 5-year tenure before branching out to build teams across other priority markets such as Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore and Hong Kong.
By far the most rewarding experience of my professional career though has been the people I’ve worked with, for and as a leader. These are some really inspirational people. I hope some of what I’ve learned along the way can in some way help you.
